Andy’s Day Care.. Eagles Draft

Andy

For the first time in long time I barely heard a single complaint about the Eagles draft. I take that back, the first ever. It seems as if the eagles finally understood what they needed and went for it. They did not really reach on any of these players at all. I could sit here and make some shit up about every one of the players drafted by the Eagles. I won’t though. There is no way in hell someone actually saw each of these players play. If someone did they are just simply amazing, seriously. So I figured I would give you some info on what the experts are saying and a little highlight reel. CBS sports line gave the eagles a B+ and ESPN gave them an A. You really never know how they will turn out but on paper BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE!

First round

Fletcher Cox DT 6’4″ 298 lbs. What they say… He will start right away. A high motor guy and a great pass rusher. Fits Washburn’s scheme perfect. What I say… He is a beast and how can you not love a guy named Cox?

Second round

Mychal Kendricks ILB 5’11” 239 lbs. What they say…. He flashes the skills to be a BIG hitter. He has very good coverage skills and is a solid tackler. What I say…. He fast…

Second round

Vinny Curry DE 6’3″ 266 lbs. What they say.. He is a leader and works extremely hard on his game. A solid pass rusher and has a nose for the ball. What I say.. This dude would not let ESPN have their cameras at his house because of all his Eagles stuff hanging every where. He did not want to take it down. I love this dude already..

Third round

Nick Foles QB 6’5″ 243 lbs. What they say.. He is a natural leader. He has a big arm but limited mobility. He shows mentally toughness. What I say.. If he sucks don’t worry about it. The Eagles will at least get a second round pick for him. See A.J. Feely and Kevin Kolb.

Fourth round

Brandon Boykin DB 5’0″ 182 lbs What they say.. He could have been a first round pick if he did not break his leg.  Versatile as hell. He has good ball skills and top notch speed. Small for a DB. Kick returner. What I say.. Is he better than Reno Mahe as a returner and at stealing gasoline?

Fifth round

Dennis Kelly OT 6’8″ 304 lbs. What they say..ESPN has nothing on him. Seriously. LOL. CBS has that he has good toughness and a good football pedigree. Has decent quickness for his size. What I say… Ummmmmmmmmm..

Sixth round

Marvin McNutt WR 6’3″ 216 lbs. What they say…He is tough and willing to go across the middle. He good leadership qualities and a good route runner. What I say.. McNutt and Cox on the same team this is awesome. These names will be fun…

Sixth round

Brandon Washington G 6’2″ 320 lbs. What they say.. Durable as hell. Has never missed a game. He is a big time hard worker. A little on the short side. What I say.. I really have nothing to say..

Seventh round

Bryce Brown RB 5’11” 219 lbs. What they say… Once was the nation’s top recruit. Never really found a home. Committed to Miami but never attended. He went to Tennessee than transferred to Kansas State. He has talent and very good after contact. What I say.. I am actually interested in seeing him play. He seems very intriguing.

Not many highlights on Washington and Kelly..And I am spent…

Sixers Balls… “Magic” number is 1! Though nobody really cares/Doug fined

Dougcollins9

Saturday night’s game against the Pacers might have been the Sixers best win of the year, seriously. I know they have beaten the Bull, Celtics twice and Lakers. Though the way the Sixers have been playing this past month I did not see this coming. That was a hard fought playoff type win against probably the NBA’s hottest team right now. I swear I would love to just smack Dahntay Jones of the Pacers. The dude is a flat-out punk. Sorry, I needed to get that out. With that win the Sixers are now 1-8 with games decided by 4 points or less. Actually, their last win with a game decided by 4 points or less came back in March 11, 2011 when they beat the Celtics 89-86.  They had lost 8 straight. The Sixers are 13-23 against teams that are .500 or better with the win against the Pacers.

The Sixers magic number is now 1 to clinch the 8th seed. They have 3 games left and the Bucks as well. They play each other on this up-coming Wednesday in Milwaukee. The Sixers finish with three straight road game Nets, Bucks, and the Pistons. Still don’t know if I am totally happy with the Sixers making the playoffs because of their play of late. To me I wanted to see Holiday, Turner and Thad leading the charge, not Lou, Iggy and Brand. It was nice to see Jrue coming up with some plays at the end of the Pacers game. The Sixers just need to get out of mediocrity somehow some way. Well, that discussion can be saved for later.

So it seems like they will end up playing the Bulls in the first round. Unless, they decided to collapse in these last three games. Like I said before, the way this season has gone down who the hell really knows. This has been one helluva rollar coaster ride. The Sixers will likely clinch a playoff spot tonight against the Nets. Well, who the hell really knows?! I have given up trying to understand this team.

By the way Doug Collins was fined today by the NBA for going off on an official at the end of the Sixers/Pacers game. It is awesome… You can hear him call the ref a flat-out Fucking Asshole…

Well, that was just awful. Three days after I said that I watched the most entertaining game ever by the Flyers, they reversed that with this showing. I could not even watch the third period. Penguins where just had more energy and where the better team that night. I feel good about the Flyers bouncing back on Friday. As long as the “Universe” comes back to Earth. For some strange reason I think Bryz bounces back big-time or that might be the caffiene talking. I had about 7 cups of coffee today. CAFFIENE HIGH!!

The one thing I keep hearing is that Fleury performance in game 4 means that he will get hot now? All honesty, I do not see it. Fleury first goal he gave up was soft as hell. I am only remember him making one good save and that was in the second period. For the love God, the Flyers were shorthanded 14 minutes of that second period. Fluery was never really tested again after the first period. The third period does not even count the Flyers knew they where done. It was 9-3 Pens for Christ sake after second period. Man, I threw a lot of religious references in there. I am not saying that Fleury is not capable of getting hot, of course he is. He has a Stanley Cup to show for it. I just don’t see it coming this year .

Guess who might be back for Game 5? JVR bitches… Well, maybe. He has been out since early March with a broken foot. JVR had a bad year, mostly because of battling through injuries through out the season. It would be great to have him back in the lineup.

Obviously, that means “Dumbass” Rinaldo would likely be scratched. By surprise, he was not suspended for his hit on Michalek at the end of the second period. I thought he deserved at least one game. Flyers beat Randy Miller thought he deserved at least 4 games for it. Don’t agree with that at all. Remember Randy is from Pittsburgh.

Speaking of cheap shots check out this major one by “Punk Ass’ Malkin on Grossman. Grossman is now day to day with an upper body injury. Some think he has a concussion. Man, I hope not. Grossman has been the Flyers best D-Man in this series in my opinion.

Check out this terrible song about Giroux. Actually it is so bad it’s good. LOL… GIROOOUUUXX!!

Puck Heads: Flyers exposing the Pens/Great Pics of Crosby

Flyers-penspic_of_game

Game three was the most entertaining sport event I have ever watched and I really mean that. Unbelievable. You had Hartnell getting his hair pulled by Adams, Schenn flat-out crushing Martin with a great check only to get cross checked to the face and punched for his efforts. You had Neal trying to take out Couturier for Malkin, since Couturier has owned Malkin in this series. Then you had Neal back down to Simmonds, when Wayne challenged him. Just awesome. Here are some highlights from the game.

The NHL handed out Asham a 4 game suspension and Neal was suspended for 1 game for there punkass moves the pulled in game 3. I never thought I would see the day where Hockey fans everywhere agreed that the Flyers where the classer team in a game. I love it. The Flyers are exposing Crosby and the Pens of how dirty and gutless they are. Crosby has been the center piece to all of this madness because of his antics. In the honor of him being a punkass here some pictures you might like.

Crosby3

I always knew he was Tinker Bell. My three year old will be so happy to find out.

Crosby_crying

That is cute.

Croby2

Right on..

Crosby2

Only the best from the Daily News.

Mustache

Nice..

Bettman

Had to finish with Bettman and Crosby in bed together.

One last thing, you have to check out this Hot girl getting a double take from the camera man during the Flyers/Pens game. Here is the link.

Sixers Balls…I want to smack the SH%T out of them.

Ra0mglp

I was going to put a picture of the Sixers up but they do not deserve it right now. I figure this picture would work. Nice… I swear, I really do want to smack the shit out of the Sixers. They gave me so much hope early on with 20-9 start. I was thinking this team was growing and fun to watch. They have become the complete opposite. It really is disturbing what has happen here. Everyone is to blame for this. Here are a couple of links to my recent rants about this team. Why do I love this team and time to hold Collins accountable. Check out the first comment on the time to hold Collins accountable article. The dude tells me to shut the F up. It is awesome.

So what do you want from this team now? Are the playoffs really worth it? Does the lottery really help this team now? If they go into the lottery they will likely be picking from the 12th-14th spot. That does not get you an impact player that you would want and need. So if they make the playoffs is going 4 to 5 games against Miami or Chicago an improvement? Not, at all. Though for some strange reason I still think they can give the Bulls some problems. The Sixers are in a very tough spot. The one thing that they can count on in the off-season is that they will have some money to play with. Hawes is coming off the books and they will likely amnesty Elton Brand so they could have over 20 some million to use according to HoopsHype.com. They are at 49 mill against the cap next year even with Brand on the books. The cap will likely be in the 56-58 million dollar range next season.

Well, after all that the big question is would any free agent want to come here? Looks like I found my next post to write about. BOOM. By the way here is my link to my earlier post about if the Sixers should make the playoffs or not.

Phils fan makes sure she does not smell

LOL. I guess she does. Welcome to the world of social network Miss Lady. You can not hide anything. We will see it and we will find you.

P.S. My site was down for some reason last week so I was not able to post anything. I know a lot of people care about this information. Until next time…

Philly Sports night and it does not get any better than this.

Tatto

These types of nights I usually end up having carpel tunnel by the end of it. Man, love this shit. Flyers/ Pens, Doc versus Johnson, and Sixers versus Raptors. Ok, the Sixers/Raptors thing is a little bit of reach. I can not help it though; I will definitely tune in to watch them as well. I am a sports junkie and it does not get any better than this. I will be park firmly on my basement couch. I will be rocking my Phils hat, my ‘Tony the Tiger” look alike Flyers jersey and will be drinking out my Sixers mug. How can I forget? My basement is an Eagle shrine. I will be representing 4 for 4 very well tonight boys and girls.

Here is one thing I am looking for tonight in each game.

Flyers

Obviously a win, but really for someone to take a run at Malkin or Crosby. I would actually prefer Malkin. I can not stand that Mother F%%K#$!!

Philles

For Doc to throw another no-no. Why, might you ask? Because he is pissed off that the Flyers and the Sixers are playing tonight. Doc does not like when other Philly teams are playing as he is pitching.

Sixers

For Evan Turner to get more involved in the Sixers offense and for Collins to like him. Well, two out of three is not bad.

I will leave you with some highlights from each team and of course some Knock, Knock..

Crazy High-school B-Ball play.. And it worked

This is awesome. Still can not believe that it worked.
